Product description
SEPTOPROP 30 tablets // 15 g Propolis is an apiary product of particular importance for bee colonies and human health.
It is a mixture of plant resinous substances, plant wax, and essential oils with specific aromas that bees collect from buds, bark, and twigs of certain trees and shrubs, primarily protecting the bee colony by contributing to the asepsis of the hive microclimate.
Worker bees actively contribute to the formation of propolis by adding their salivary secretions and wax to the raw resinous material collected.
The composition of this product is complex, being mainly represented by resins, balsams, polyphenolic compounds (phenolic acids and flavonoids), volatile (essential) oils, mineral salts, pollen grains, plant-based waxes, and beeswax.
Due to the biologically active compounds present in its composition, propolis acts as a stimulant of the immune system, enhancing its defense capacity against various aggression factors.
By increasing the body's defense capacity, it also supports the body during periods of overexertion and fatigue.
The polyphenols in the composition of propolis determine a wide range of biological actions: , antioxidant, , anesthetic, healing, immunomodulatory, through which it specifically and non-specifically aids the human body.
The SEPTOPROP product has a soothing effect on throat irritations, improves respiratory comfort, and contributes to strengthening immunity.
