Learning Resources Domino Game - Rainbow Fraction

Product description

The Rainbow Fraction® domino game is an innovative and colorful way to practice and reinforce knowledge about fractions, perfect for children who want to improve their math skills in a fun way.

Features: This game is ideal for both home learning with the family and to conclude lessons with a practical, interactive activity in the classroom. The set includes 36 double-sided dominoes, each with both graphically and numerically represented fractions and their percentage equivalents. One side of each domino depicts simple fractions, accompanied by distinctive colors for easy visual recognition, while the other side presents the percentage equivalents, offering two different ways to play. Each piece is uniquely color-coded, compatible with the rest of the Rainbow Fraction resources – including games like Rainbow Fraction Bingo – to provide visual continuity and facilitate the learning process. The design of this set includes multilingual packaging and instructions, so that it is accessible in diverse communities. The game is suitable for 2 to 4 players, and the size of the pieces and durable construction make it easy to use and suitable for frequent handling. The game covers essential educational objectives, such as recognizing and naming simple fractions (half, quarter) and working with equivalents in primary and secondary school grades Game rules: Players compete to place all their domino pieces on the game table, matching them correctly until one of them is left without pieces and wins the round.

Two game levels are available: Fraction level: where players match the illustrated or written fractions to complete the domino row.

Percentage equivalence level: where the percentage values corresponding to the fractions must be matched.
