Prefers bright, sunny places. Tuberoses cultivated as cut flowers are harvested when half of the flowers forming the inflorescence are open. If harvested in bud stage, they do not bloom in the vase. Planting of tuberoses is done in April - May. Tuberose bulbs are planted at a depth of 3-4 up to a maximum of 8 cm. Over winter, the bulbs are kept at temperatures of 6 - 8 degrees Celsius up to temperatures of 15-20 degrees Celsius. Fertilization is recommended during the growth and flowering period - twice a month - using liquid, water-soluble fertilizers for flowering plants or slow-release fertilizers. Prefers fertile, rich in humus, permeable, sunny soils. Requires a lot of water and regular watering, high temperatures.
